FTP is a standard way of transferring files between your
local drive and your server. Advantage includes transferring
multiple files at once versus one by one through the online
file manager.
Step 1. Configure your FTP Client. The one
below is smartFTP
(download from software section)
Step 2. Connect to server
Software will automatically do all the required unix commands
By default you will be in your root directory: home/YourUserName
Go to mainwebsite_html
Mainwebsite_html is your root directory. Your index.html file will
be placed in the root directory
Another
way to access your root directory is through var/www/html
